Lakhimpur Kheri Violence: A murder case has been registered against Ashish Mishra (son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra), accused of trampling the protesting farmers with a vehicle in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Meanwhile, a new video has surfaced of farmers being attacked. In this video going viral on social media, it is seen that some farmers fell on the ground after the car ran over them, while some were seen scrambling to escape and there was chaos on the spot.

In the video, farmers are seen marching forward with flags in their hands, when a jeep blowing a siren comes from behind and tramples on several people in the fresh Lakhimpur Kheri Violence incident. Several people were injured in the collision of a speeding jeep. In the video it is clearly seen, that an elderly man was hit by the speeding vehicle and he then fell on the ground. An SUV is also seen behind the jeep in the video.
After this video surfaced, opposition leaders have started targeting BJP. First Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh and then Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi shared this video on social media. Although the police have not confirmed this video, nor is it clear who was driving the vehicle. Let us inform that 8 people including 4 farmers were killed in the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri.
