Bhubaneswar, July 4: “L&D Global Bhubaneswar Chapter” was launched on 3rd July 2016 by the Founder and Chief Executive of L & D Global, Mr. Surya Prakash Mohapatra who is an Industry thought leader in the HR Space. This is a network of L & D practitioners from across the world. The Global Network was founded on 12th Sep. 2011. At present more than 25000+ members are parts of this network across the globe. Bhubaneswar is the 6th Chapter launched in India and the 1st in the Eastern India. The other local chapters are already established and functioning in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai.
The Bhubaneswar launch was held at the Nalco HRD Centre, Chandrasekharpur. The guests of honor for the event were Mr. Parthasarathi Mishra, Chief of HR, Tata Steel, Kalinga Nagar & Mr. Umesh Hota, President HR, Hindalco Industries Lld., Aditya Birla Group. A total of 55 LnDians attended the inaugural function and made it a historical event in the whole of Eastern India.
The Office Bearers of L & D Global Bhubaneswar Chapter were also declared and installed during the event.

Chairperson Member Relation, Mr. Chittaranjan Bairisal, Members were Dr. P.K.Mohanty, Mr. Amula Pradhan, Mr. R.K.Mishra, andTreasurer – Manoranjan Patra.
The L & D’s global mission is to focus on 3 C’s. Collaborate, Co-Create & Contribute. The strategic aim is to create a pool of highly skilled people who can realize their full potential whilst accommodating the changing needs of our present generation. L & D promote best practice and stimulate innovation & actively encourage the sharing of ideas, knowledge & experience across all domains in the field of Learning and Development to reach world class standard.
This platform is more of providing access to new development opportunities for all professional trainers and researchers are welcome to participate as appropriate. In this community all the members share their ideas to help others grow, and they share a passion for empowering all members of the group to unlock their full potential.
