Bhubaneswar, Apr 25: In a tragic incident, a 23-old-year lion at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar died of old age today.
One of the oldest member of the park, Laxman (the lion) was born in 1994 and was a great attraction for the visitors. But unfortunately, he was not keeping well since few days and had also not eaten anything since the past two days. He died at around 3.30pm today inside his enclosure.
Currently the zoo has only about 14 lions after Laxman.
