Two People were Killed As Lightening Struck A Football Game In Sundargarh District

In a tragic incident, lightning struck a football game in the Sundargarh district of Odisha, killing two people and injuring 21 others. Doctors pronounced two individuals dead upon their arrival at the Hatibari Community Health Centre (CHC).
One of the two victims was a football player. However, the majority of those injured in the incident were bystanders.

The incident occurred during a football match at Baneilata, Nuagaon in the Sundargarh District of Odisha.
According to police sources, 17 of the injured were transported to the Rourkela Government Hospital, while the other four were treated at the Hatibari Community Health Center.
