Angul, March 31: A main riding system was inaugurated at Mahanadi Coalfields Limited’s Talcher based coal mine on March 27.
The system was inaugurated by Deputy DGMS of Mines Safety Directorate P Ranganatheswar in the presence of MCL’s Chairman-cum-Managing Director Anil Kumar Jha.
Speaking on the occasion, Jha said the main riding system will provide relief to the workers who have to traverse long distances inside the underground coal mine.
“The system will enhance productivity and motivate workers to perform better”, he added.
