Rourkela, Jan 30: On Sunday late night, a person who was being treated at the government hospital here died after he was attacked by another patient with an iron pipe. The name of the person was Sambhunath Mundari. It’s stated that a person named Jadab Munda had been admitted to the hospital and was allotted a bed beside Sambhunath’s bed. Late in the night, the Munda attacked Mundari with an iron pipe. Bhala Mundari, brother of the deceased, said his brother was thrashed with an iron pipe. Seeing this he tried to call the security but in vain. Later he asked the nurse to call the doctor. Upon checking his brother, the doctor declared him dead. Being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the matter.
