An young man of 36 years’ old died onboard while he was coming to Tiruchy from Kuala Lumpur by an Air India Express flight. The passenger identified as A Velmurugan of Nariyapatti village in Pudukkottai in Tamil Nadu.
Velmurugan’s fellow passengers found him motionless and immediately they informed the crew.
The staffs of the Aircraft informed regarding the incident to Tiruchy Airport.
Soon after the arrival of the flight, the medical team entered into the flight and declared Velmurugan dead.
Sources said, he was suffering from a variety of health conditions.
Relatives of Velmurugan were already there at the airport to receive him and Airport officials informed them about the incident.
The body of the deceased passenger was shifted to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital in Tiruchy for post-mortem.
