Bhubaneswar : April 12: A horrific massacre took place in Kusupur village under Mahanga police station of Odisha’s Cuttack District. Sources said, a man killed the entire family of his elder brother and surrendered before the Police.
The deceased have been identified as Alekh Sahu, wife Rashmi Sahu and children Payal, Gudu & Tudu.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that they were killed by a sword. There has been a long-running bitterness within the family over property disputes.

Alekh’s younger brother Shiva locked the room following the gruesome incident and surrendered at Balichandrapur police station in Jajpur district.
Salepur SDPO, Mahanga IIC and the Tehsildar reached the spot and started investigating on the crime.
