Malkangiri, Dec 26: A Maoist was killed in Darbha forest during an exchange of fire between security personnel and red rebels on Friday.
According to police sources, a joint team of the Chhattisgarh police and CRPF raided the forest acting on a tip off.
The Maoists attacked the security personnel which was returned by the security forces killing one red rebel, they said.
