Maoists call for Sahid week from July 28 to August 3

Bhubaneswar, July 26: Maoists have put up posters in Parasahi area of Rayagada stating that July 28 to August 3 would be observed as the Sahid Week.

Maoists have called for the observance of the Sahid week for the July 8 firing incident, in which five people, including two women and a girl child, all belonging to Gumudumaha village, had died in a cross fire between Maoists and security personnel.

Through the posters, the Maoists have also appealed the people to support the Sahid Week.
