Cuttack: Matriculation examination starts today. As many as 5 lakh 22 thousand 336 students will appear for the examination in 3133 centres in the state.
Students will appear for the first language examination on the first day today. The examination will continue till March 6. The examination will be held from 9 am to 11:30 am. Candidates can enter the examination centre from 7:30 am.
Four-tier squads have been arranged to prevent malpractice. 42 squads have been made by the board and 90 squads by the district education officer in Cuttack. Apart from this, squads have also been formed by the district administration and police administration.
There are 314 nodal centres in 30 districts for the smooth conduct of the matriculation examination. On the day of the subject examination, the question paper will reach the examination center from the nodal center between 7:30 and 8:30.
The board has a central command control room at the head office to watch live from 314 nodal centers and 300 examination centers. From here, the board authorities can check the details of the examination center.
Efforts have been made to install CCTV in each examination center. 10 CCTV cameras have been installed in each examination center. To prevent the question paper getting viral possibility, watermarks, static QR codes and dynamic codes have been arranged in the matriculation question paper.
In Cuttack colored water bottles have been restricted inside the examination hall. Only transparent bottles can be taken by the examinees. Drinking water has been arranged inside the hall.
Also mobile phones can’t be taken inside.
About two thousand students of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Bhubaneswar are going to give the matriculation examination.
