Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: Trouble! Trouble! Trouble!
BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena after getting into trouble on the allegations of his involvement in a sex tape, has today filed a defamation and criminal suit against Chhatra Congress President Itish Pradhan and niankhunta.com proprietor Pradeep Pandey at the Bhubaneswar Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court.
Jena has filed an Rs 1 crore defamation suit against the duo and has also appealed to impose ban on the telecast of the video on YouTube, said sources.
Initiating into the probe the Commissionerate police has issued a notice to the duo along with have also requested the media to provide the video clip, which was circulated at the Chhatra Congress press meet yesterday.
According to sources, the Capital police have written to the YouTube asking to stop the telecast of the concerned video.
Notably Jena had filed an FIR at the capital PS against Chhatra congress president Itish Pradhan and niankhunta.com proprietor Pradeep Pandey yesterday regarding their allegations of Jena’s involvement in a sex tape.
