Khurda, March 14: Unidentified miscreants attacked and looted Rs 10.72 lakh from a group of businessmen at Begunia Tikatala-Manibandha road under Begunia police limits in the wee hours of Sunday after following them for some distance.
The businessmen were travelling in a vehicle and intercepted them on the way.
They attacked the traders with iron rods and sharp weapons and fled with the cash, the sources added.
The injured traders were admitted to Khurda hospital.
