Nuapada, Oct 26: After stabbing a businessman at Udyanabandha village in Nuapada district on Monday night, the armed miscreants looted Rs 4 lakh and gold ornaments from his house.
As per reports, during late night, the dacoits stormed into the businessman’s house during late night and when he tried to protest, the miscreants stabbed him with a knife due to which he sustained grievous injuries.
The dacoits later looted Rs 4 lakh, 160 gm of gold ornaments and 500 gm of silver jeweleries and fled from the spot immediately.
As per sources, the businessman was rescued in a serious condition and was later admitted to a hospital.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and began investigation into the matter.
