Modi to Visit Odisha Twice in January 2025

Cuttack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha twice in the month of January 2025, informed Chief Minister Mohan Majhi while attending an event in Cuttack this evening.

According to Majhi, the Prime Minister will attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and the “Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025” next month.

While the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention is slated to be held between January 8 and January 10, the 4th edition of the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave is scheduled to be held on 28-29th January 2025.

The Odisha CM made the announcement about Modi’s visit to the State while addressing the gathering at the concluding day of the 69th State Police Duty-Meet at the 6th OSAP (Odisha Special Armed Police) Battalion in Cuttack.

It is to be noted here that PM Modi had last visited Odisha on November 29 and for the first time had a three-day stay till December 1. He came to attend the three-day director general of police (DGP) and inspector general of police (IG) conference in Bhubaneswar. Apart from attending the DGP-IG conference along with Union Home minister Amit Shah and National Security Adviser (NAS) Ajit Doval, the Prime Minister also had a conference with the BJP party leaders, MPs and MLAs of Odisha.
