Rourkela, Dec 3: A young woman of 22 with a child of 2 years old were allegedly found burnt alive at Gualapada near Chinatown in Biramitrapur today.
The young woman identified as Rakhi Sahu of Malgodown area of Rourkela was married to Soni Sahu of Biramitrapur and had a son of 2 years old. The neighbors saw Rakhi early today morning at around 9 am while she was working in the kitchen. But soon later at around 9.30 am, after Soni yelled at Rakhi the neighbors got inside their houses.
Later after the neighbors saw the burnt dead body of Rakhi and her 2-year-old child lying on the bed, they informed the police. Rakhi’s relatives have also filed a complaint against Soni with the Biramitrapur Police and the investigation is on.
