Danagadi: May 15: Forest Department officials and Snake Helpline members rescued a cobra and its 13 hatchlings from Siba Prasad Jena’s house in Manapur Village under Danagadi block of Odisha’s Jajpur district.
Family members of Siba Prasad Jena saw a cobra that was entering their house. Immediately, they informed to Forest officials and Forest officials came with the member of Snake Help Line Manibhadra Mallick, who rescued the mother Cobra and its 13 hatchlings. Cobra was in the cow shed of the house whereas the hatchlings were under an asbestos sheet.
The Snakes were later released to a nearby Forest.
