Bhubaneswar: August 07: Kandhamal MP Dr Achyuta Samanta met Union Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav on Wednesday and discussed regarding the Railway Connectivity to the constituency.
He handed over a memorandum to the Minister for the the Railway Connectivity soon. Union Railway Minister assured support in this regard.
Earlier on Dr. Samanta’s demand, Prasanjit Singh, joint secretary of the Railway Standing Committee, wrote a letter to Suneet Sharma, Chairman and CEO of Railway Board to look into the matter.
Mr. Samanta hopes that the new Railway Minister will expedite the construction of the railway line to Kandhamal soon.
