Rayagada: March 27: Koraput MP Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka has declared for a contributed Rs.1 Crore from his MPLADS Funds for the ongoing fight against Corona Virus. The said fund shall be spent for the preparedness and prevention in Koraput and Rayagada Districts.
Sri Ulaka has also sought an estimate from the District Collectors of Koraput and Rayagada for purchasing essential materials like infra-red thermometers, personal protection equipment for medical personnel, corona testing kits, ICU ventilator, face masks, gloves, thermal imaging scanners and other medical equipment as recommended by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The Congress MP has also requested the district administration to plan for the use of District Minenal Foundation funds to contain COVID-19.
