Bhubaneswar, May 22: Today around 155 passengers at the Mumbai airport had to face a close call when an Air India flight flying from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar had to make an emergency landing at the Mumbai airport. The flight AI-669 made the emergency landing after it detected smoke coming out from its cockpit due to a suspected ‘technical snag’. Although the exact cause is yet to be known but all the passengers are safe now. Crew members of the flight detected the smoke in the cockpit just after it tookoff at around 2.15 pm. In an another flight, the passengers have been boarded to the capital city at 4.15 pm and the flight will be reaching at 6.40 pm at BPIA.
