Bhubaneswar, Jan 15: Nalco, the Navratna CPSE, has received the Best Mother Plant Award, at the concluding ceremony of Odisha MSME International Trade Fair, organized at Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
On behalf of the company, Ashok Patra, Executive Director (Materials), received the award from Industry Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and MSME Minister Jogendra Behera.
It may be mentioned that Nalco participated in the trade fair held from Jan 8 to 14 and had put up a stall to display various items that are being procured from MSMEs as also to showcase various activities taken up by the company to promote Small and Medium Scale Industries, in the vicinity of its operations.
