Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: NALCO organized ‘Basant Pushpa Pradarshani’, its annual Flower & Vegetable Show on Jan 17 and 18 here at Nalco Nagar. As many as 11 institutions and 78 individuals participated in the show in various categories.
In the Institutional Category, C.V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar bagged the Champions trophy while in the Individual category, Amiya Prasad Sahoo, Bhubaneswar was the Champion.
Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NALCO and Preeti Roy, President, NALCO Mahila Samiti, handed over the prizes to the winners.
Earlier, N.R. Mohanty, Director (P&T), inaugurated the show in the presence of S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), S.D. Sahu, ED (Finance), Amiya Patnaik, GM (H&A), Sanjay Mishra, GM (H&A), and other senior executives of NALCO.
On the concluding day function, N.R. Mohanty, Director (P&T), S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial) and V. Balasubramanyam, Director (Production), also graced the occasion.
