Narayan Rane Bailed, Summoned By Crime Branch, May File Petition At Bombay High Court, Today
Mumbai, August 25: Narayan Rane, the Union Minister who’s objectionable statement, where he mentioned, of slapping CM Uddhav Thackeray, has made the front page news around India. Rane, who’s troubles seems increasing day by day, was arrested on Tuesday by the Nashik Police, but was released on bail on the same day. However, his troubles aren’t over. The Nashik police, after his bail, have asked the union minister to remain in the station on September 2, as they have summoned him on the date. A case on this same has been registered and a so called notice has also been sent to him.
A warrant on the same was also issue and a case was also registered. In the meanwhile, Rane’s Jan Yatra has been postponed for a few days, said sources. Rane is also likely to file a petition at the Bombay High Court today, on this matter, added the sources.
After Rane’s arrest, Shiv Sen workers allegedly showered stones at the BJP Party compound in Nashik. But this reaction was a response to the actions of the BJP workers, who hit back first, sources. Over 100 people have been booked by the police in this matter and a case has also been registered on them.
On the other hand, the Mahad court which granted bail to the Union Minister, had asked the later to furnish a bond of Rs 15,000. The court also gave strict instruction to the Union Minister against any evidence tampering. In the meanwhile, the Nashik Police who have asked him to be at Nashik on 2nd of September, wants to match Rane’s audio on his remarks on slapping MAHA CM Uddhav Thackeray. Rane has also been summoned by the Raigad crime branch on August 30 and September 13.
Notably, Narayan Rane who built his career in Shiv Sena, got expelled, joined Congress, got suspended and eventually joined BJP, and has now been arrested.
