Bhubaneswar, Apr 29: CM Naveen Patnaik during his visit to the Utkal University yesterday inaugurated a language block and also granted an amount of Rs 15 Crore to buy equipments for the Central Instrumentation Centre.
Along with this Naveen also laid the foundation stone of HRD centre, Convention-cum-outreach centre and Biotechnology annex.
Patnaik also attended the students’ union Annual function at the university campus.
Notably, before Patnaik’s visit to the University yesterday, situation got worsened outside the campus, following to which, over 40 students were detained. CM reached the venue to attend the Annual day function amid heavy security.
