NDRF trains NCC girl cadets to minimise loss during disasters

Patna, Dec 18: National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) imparted training to girls here on defensive activities needed at the time of disasters like earthquakes.

More than 350 NCC girl cadets learnt on Thursday about defensive activities at the time of earthquake and other natural calamities at the headquarters of the 9th battalion of NDRF based at Bihta in Patna district.

An NRDF team imparted the training to the cadets about preliminary treatment after heart attack, technique in blood circulation and fracture of bone among others in time of natural disasters.

More than 2,500 NCC cadets have been provided training during the year at Patna, Darbhanga and Gaya in different aspects of relief at the time of natural calamities.
