Puri, Apr 21: The president of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari announced on Friday during her visit to Puri Jagannath temple that they will take every step to deal with the Kasturi crisis.
She also mentioned that she was delighted after the Darshan of Lord Jagannath. She was glad when she received an invitation from President, Pranab Mukherjee and was happy after receiving so much respect from the people and hence has decided to solve the Kasturi crisis as fast as possible. During her visit she also said that India as well as Nepal share a long lasting bond with each other and also wish that this friendly bond will continue to the future.
Kasturi is used for Mukh Shringar of the deities for Rath Yatra for it`s purity. While on two days visit to India including Odisha, the Nepal`s President offered her prayers and was embraced by the attendants at Singhadwara. She entered the Jagannath temple with tight security around her. Perfect security preparations were made and they prohibited the entry of other people in the area.
She also wants to visit the Sun temple in Konark.
