Puri, Apr 21: In another success story, a team of the Puri police on Friday was able to take down the wanted criminal Rabi Pradhan while the latter faced an encounter with the former around the Kadua bridge along the Gop police limits. This kind of incident had happened near Delanga earlier as well in which another wanted criminal Gora Mallick was taken into custody.
Rabi Pradhan after receiving a bullet injury on his left leg and had been taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. As per sources, he is considered to be the main culprit behind the Balighat firing case. While he is taken into custody, a motorcycle and a pistol have also been retrieved from his possession and the investigation is still in progress regarding the incident.
