Bhadrak, Apr 14: Day after day, normal life is being restored gradually here as the District Administration today has relaxed the curfew from early morning 6 am to evening 5 pm. Peace being witnessed on the streets in the district, offices and shops have been opened for the residents of the town. In addition, the DA has also permitted bus owners to resume their services as before. Although the situation is calmed down, security forces are still present here to protect the area from any untoward situation. On the other hand, the DA here has assessed the destruction caused here risen by the communal tension that went on for a week. Also, leaders of all parties visited the town and reviewed the situation here on Thursday. among them was the BJP state unit’s chief Basant Panda’s 5-member team that visited the town and noted that damages caused to shops and houses being vandalized during the unrest. They also had talks with the victims here. Likewise, OPCC chief Niranjan Patnaik, Anant Sethi and Bijaylaxmi Sahu also arrived here to review the same.
