Bhubaneswar, Apr 17: A labourer was tortured by his company officials in Oman. The labourer identified as Ashutosh Dhala belonged to Patrapur village of Kendrapara district.
It is said that Dhala had send a voice message in which he has explained his situation to his family who were earlier not aware of his location for the two months. Pranati, his wife, said that they didn’t had money to bring her husband back so they requested the government to help them in bringing him back from Oman.
Notably, as of Pranati, one of the company official had threatened to kill him because he was unable to go to work due to health issues after which he got scared and fled.
