Bhubaneswar: May 28: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written a letter to Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and urged the Centre again for the introduction of Humsafar type of new AC express train from Khurda Road to Mumbai via Sambalpur in the name of Buxi Jagabandhu, legendary freedom fighter of the state. As commuters have been facing hardship to travel to Mumbai, State has also demanded increase in frequency of trains between the two states. It is to be noted, in the month of March, the state had requested Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to introduce a Humsafar type new air-conditioned express train from Khurda Road station, the epicenter of the Paika rebellion, to Mumbai.
