Odisha CM directs not to stop ambulance during VIP movement

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday directed police not to detain ambulance during VIP vehicles’ movement.

Patnaik said the life of patients were more precious than the VIP movement.

In order to allow smooth movement of ambulance, the Chief Minister issued direction to authorities to demarcate special corridors for patient carriers.

On the first phase, the special ambulance corridors would be constructed near major road crossings in the state, an official release said.
