Chief Minister of eastern Indian Odisha state Naveen Patnaik has directed deployment the newly recruited government staff in state’s backward Kalahandi- Bolangir-Koraput (KBK) region, tribal dominate areas and Western Odisha.
He has also asked his senior officials to fill up of several officer’s post in the Revenue department of the government.
He laid emphasis on early appointment of Block Extension Officers in the Blocks of the State.
He directed the State Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary and officials of Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare, Cooperation, SC/ST Development and Fisheries and Animal Husbandry department officials to fill their vacant posts on a priority basis while warning them to adhere to directives in this regard.
He also directed them to review pending cases in different courts and ensure their early disposals.
