Bhubaneswar: October 15: October 16 is the birthday of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. He will turn 73 on Wednesday. This time, Naveen will not celebrate his birthday. He has requested his Party Men, Workers, Leaders and well wishers not to come to Naveen Niwas to wish him, rather they should visit schools and orphanages to do some good work.
Chief Minister said, ‘Cyclone Fani caused extensive damage to our State. I have decided not to celebrate my birthday’.
Naveen further said, ‘People of Odisha are my family members. I am really indebted to the people of Odisha for their love and affection towards me’.
Odisha CM advises the people to dedicate important days of their life such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries for serving the underprivileged.
The Odisha CM expressed his happiness over the ‘Jivan Bindu’ blood donation programme organised by BJD on the occasion of his birthday.
