Berhampur: October 31: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik shall flag off the Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Train from Berhampur today.
The train will have 970 elderly individuals who will embark on a pilgrimage to several destinations in southern India, including Kanyakumari and Trivandrum.
In accordance with the governmental framework implemented in the state of Odisha, elderly persons are afforded the opportunity to embark on visits to significant pilgrimage destinations inside the nation.

Senior citizens from Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh and Nayagarh districts are being taken in the special train.
The government of Odisha has made all requisite preparations to ensure a seamless voyage. Additionally, a group of thirty guides will accompany the pilgrims, offering comprehensive assistance to the elderly individuals.
