Cuttack, Dec 1: Honored with the President’s Police Medal and Police Internal Security Medal, Bibhuti Bhusan Pradhan, Odia IPS Officer of 1985 batch has been posted on the post of Director General (DG) of Fire Service and Home Guard department of Jharkhand Police.
Hailing from Nayagarh district, Pradhan had completed his educational career in Utkal University and Ravenshaw University and started his career as a Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gaya, Bihar.
Before this new post, earlier he was working as the Special Secretary of Disaster Management and Home department of the same state.
