Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: Odisha government on Saturday accorded in-principle approval for establishment of one super specialty cardiac care hospital on public-private-partnership (PPP) mode, officials said.
The approval was given by the Empowered Committee on Infrastructure (ECI) at a meeting held under chairmanship of Chief Secretary G C Pati while reviewing progress of various infrastructure projects being taken up under PPP mode.
The department of Health and Family Welfare department had submitted a proposal for setting up of a super specialty cardiac care hospital in Jharsuguda on PPP mode. The hospital will have 50 beds and two operation theaters. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs 40 crore.
