Odisha Govt introduced ‘Green Passage’ to support higher studies of orphans

Bhubaneswar: May 17: State Government of Odisha introduced ‘Green Passage’, a special scheme today for the orphans in Odisha.

With the Introduction of this new scheme, the orphan students will not bear the burden of admission fee, tuition fee and laboratory fees for higher studies as well as they will be provided free accommodation and food in hostels.

This will be effective for students from Intermediate class to doctoral degrees. All government, private and aided colleges will implement the plan.

Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today approved the scheme, which will function under the higher education department.
