Bhubaneswar, July 16: Pradeep Panigrahy, Science and Technology Minister informed today that the Odisha government through its attorney will be moving the authorities for patent as well as geographical indication (GI) tag for the syrupy intricacy. He also thanked Asit Mohanty, the man whose efforts resulted in laying down the fact that Rasogola had its origins in Odisha, since the 15th -16th centuries as been mentioned in the ‘Dandee Ramayana’.
Notably, Odisha and Bengal are in a hand to hand level over the origin of Rasagola.
