Bhubaneswar: October 20: Number of new Corona Positive Cases has declined further in Odisha. The State has reported 1,904 new cases in last 24 hours. Out of which, 1,115 are quarantine cases and rest 789 are local cases.
According to the data provided by Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda District has recorded 221 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Nuapada 128 cases, Cuttack 111 cases, Angul 109 cases, Kendrapara 106 cases, Sundergarh 100 cases, Mayurbhanj 93 cases, Balasore 90 cases, Kalahandi 76 cases, Jagatsinghpur & Sonepur 73 cases each, Bolangir 66 cases, Keonjhar 56 cases, Jharsuguda 51 cases, Dhenkanal 50 cases, Puri & Jajpur 49 cases each, Sambalpur 44 cases, Nabarangpur 43 cases, Ganjam 39 cases, Koraput 36 cases, Bargarh 35 cases, Nayagarh 32 cases, Malkangiri 30 cases, Boudh 24 cases, Deogarh 21 cases, Bhadrak 19 cases, Kandhamal 18 cases, Rayagada 17 cases, Gajapati 2 cases and State Pool 43 cases.
With 1904 new cases, Odisha’s tally increased to 2,72,250 and out of that, 2,49,575 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
In last 24 hours, 16 patients succumbed to the disease and total death toll reached 1168.
At present, 21,454 active cases are there in the State.
