Covid-19: Odisha’s Daily Positivity Rate Drops To 3.48 %
Odisha reported 2106 fresh covid-19 cases today, taking state’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,66,811, informed H & FW Department.
Of 2106 new cases, 1229 are quarantine cases and rest 877 are local contact cases. Also, as reported by Health Department, 324 cases are in the age group of 0-18.
Khurda, Sundergarh & Cuttack District reported 429, 219 and 145 new cases respectively. Rest other districts of State have less than 100 cases each in last 24 hours.

5376 people recovered from the disease in 24 hours and total recoveries reached to 12,34,352.
Active caseload increased to 23,672.
23 more deaths have been recorded in 24 hours, pushing the death tally to 8734.
As reported, 60,483 swab tests have been conducted in last 24 hours and out of that, 2106 cases were found positive. Daily Positivity Rate reduced further to 3.48 percent.
