Bhubaneswar: June 01: Odisha has witnessed highest single day spike of 156 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has gone up to 2104.
As per the information, Kendrapara has recorded highest number of cases i.e.50, followed by Cuttack with 20 cases, Ganjam 17 cases, Jagatsinghpur 14 cases, Jajpur 11 cases, Kandhamal 9 cases and Bhadrak 7 cases.
Also,Khurda, Nayagarh, Sundergarh, Nuapada, Mayurbhanj,Bargarh & Sonepur district have 3 cases each.
Beside, Bolangir & Sambalpur have two cases each and Boudh, Keonjhar and Malkangiri have registered one case each.
As per the latest data, total cases in the State has reached 2104. Out of which, 1126 patients have already cured. So, rest 969 patients are under medical supervision.
