Bhubaneswar: June 11: Odisha reported 5,235 new cases on June 10. Out of that, 2957 people were in quarantine and rest 2,278 are local contact cases.
Khurda District recorded 726 news cases on the same day, followed by Cuttack (557), Jajpur (394), Balasore (320), Mayurbhanj (285), Angul (277), Sundergarh (251), Kendrapara (237), Puri (234), Bhadrak (217), Nawarangpur (186), Jagatsinghpur (148), Dhenkanal (137), Nayagarh (132), Rayagada (129), Koraput (127), Keonjhar (115), Bargarh (118),Boudh (83), Ganjam (77), Sambalpur (66), Malkangiri (58), Kalahandi (48), Balangir (41), Kandhamal (37), Sonepur (34), Jharsuguda (27), Gajapati (23), Deogarh (14) and Nuapada (13).
124 cases were found from State Pool.
So far Odisha recorded 8,42,461 positive cases and 7,72,972 cases have recovered from the disease. At present, State has 66,226 active cases.
43 Covid Positive Patients died in last 24 hours while under treatment in Hospitals and total death toll in State increased to 3210.
65,635 samples have been tested yesterday and the positivity rate now stands at 7.97 %.
