Bhubaneswar: August 4: Odisha has reported 1384 new COVID-19 Positive cases today. Of this, 889 are Quarantine Cases and rest 495 Local Contact Cases. Total cases in the State increased to 37,681.
As per the information provided by I & PR Department, 14 cases have been reported from Angul, 37 from Balasore, 10 from Bargarh, 40 from Bhadrak, 5 from Bolangir, 2 from Boudh, 121 from Cuttack, 51 from Dhenkanal, 38 from Gajapati, 288 from Ganjam, 20 from Jagatsinghpur, 39 from Jajpur, 3 from Jharsuguda, 47 from Kalahandi, 62 from Kandhamal, 12 from Kendrapara, 66 from Keonjhar, 201 from Khurda, 49 from Koraput, 34 from Malkangiri, 28 from Mayurbhanj, 2 from Nawarangpur, 31 from Nayagarh, 3 from Nuapada, 34 from Puri, 82 from Sambalpur, 64 from Sundergarh and one case from Sonepur.
Out of total 37,681 cases, 23,074 patients have recovered from the disease so far. Till date,216 persons succumbed to the disease and another 42 Corona Positive patients died due other illnesses.
At Present, 14,349 patients are active and undergoing treatment.
Also, as reported, 5,70,590 samples have been tested so far.
