Bhubaneswar: August 4: Public Sector and Private Sector Banks shall operate with 50 per cent staff in Odisha. Odisha Government has allowed the normal functioning of Banks, but with 50 per cent staff till August 31 due to COVID Pandemic.
Larger Branches of all the public and private sector banks, regional rural banks, state co-operative banks, small finance banks and insurance companies shall function as per the normal banking hours with 50 per cent staff. Small branches with less than 5 staffs shall operate with full strength till August 31 following the COVID -19 Guidelines.
Also, as said by the department, clearing house, controlling office of the banks, SEBI, controlling heads of the insurance companies and RBI are allowed to operate as per the normal functioning time with 50 per cent of staff.
State Government has issued the Guidelines regarding the functioning of bank during the month of August and communicated to all the district administration and Banks.
