Bhubaneswar: July 12: Odisha has registered 595 new COVID-19 cases. 230 new cases have been detected from Ganjam, 97 from Jajpur, 76 from Khurda, 44 from Koraput, 36 from Malkangiri, 20 from Gajapati, 14 from Mayurbhanj,11 each from Balasore, Bhadrak & Cuttack, 10 from Puri, 8 from Sundergarh, 5 each from Nayagarh & Jagatsinghpur, 4 from Kalahandi, 3 each from Bargarh & Keonjhar, 2 each from Sambalpur, Kendrapara & Rayagada and 1 from Bolangir District.
394 cases were in Quarantine and 201 are local contact cases.
Total cases in Odisha has increased to 13,121.
Also, as per Health & Family Welfare Department’s tweet, three COVID-19 patients from Ganjam District have died while under treatment in Hospitals. With this, total death toll of the State rose to 64.
Ganjam continues to be the worst-hit District with 3,864 cases and 39 deaths.
