Odisha Report 11,086 New Covid Cases; Over 80 K Active Case
Odisha reported over 11,000 Covid Cases again in a day. Today, it has reported 11,086 new cases and of which, 1061 cases are under the age group of 0-18. Also, as informed by Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department, 6431 people of new cases were in quarantine and rest 4655 cases are local contact cases.
With 11,086 new cases, State’s tally (cases since the beginning of the pandemic) rose to 11,55,487.
Khurda District reported 3469 new cases in 24 hours, followed by Sundergarh 1416, Cuttack 766, Mayurbhanj 393, Balasore 323, Sambalpur 302, Bolangir 300, Jajpur 275, Jagatsinghpur 273, Kalahandi 253 and Keonjhar 223.
Also, 759 cases were found from State Pool.

Health Department further said, 5965 patients recovered from the disease in 24 hours and with this, total recoveries increased to 10,66,032.
Current Active Caseload remains at 80,914.
4 persons succumbed to the disease in 24 hours and with this, total death toll increased to 8488.
70,990 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and daily positivity rate of State stands at 15.61 percent.
