Bhubaneswar: August 4: Odisha reported 1315 fresh Covid Positive cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 762 people were in quarantine and rest 553 are local contact cases.
65,209 swab tests have been done in last 24 hours and out of that, 1315 samples came out Positive. So, the daily positivity rate remains at 2.01 per cent.
Total caseload in Odisha jumped to 9,82,181 and out of that, 9,62,088 people have already recovered from the disease.
1702 patients recovered yesterday. With this, active cases number reduces further to 13,872.
Health Department reported 66 new deaths and total death toll reached 6,168.
Khurda continues to be the worst-affected cases with 413 cases.

Jharsuguda District does not have any fresh cases as reported.
