Bhubaneswar: October 21: Odisha reported 1931 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 1120 are quarantine cases and 811 are local contact cases. With 1931 new cases reported today, total tally of Corona Positive Cases in the State increased to 2,74,181.
According to the data provided by Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda District registered 273 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 153 cases, Angul 120 cases, Sundergarh 104 cases, Mayurbhanj 99 cases, Jagatsinghpur 78 cases, Balasore 73 cases, Puri 72 cases, Jajpur 67 cases, Bargarh 66 cases, Keonjhar 65 cases, Bhadrak 64 cases, Bolangir 64 cases, Nabarangpur 62 cases, Kendrapara 61 cases, Jharsuguda 56 cases, Kandhamal 46 cases, Kalahandi 45 cases, Nuapada 43 cases, Malkangiri 38 cases, Sambalpur 37 cases, Dhenkanal 35 cases, Sonepur 30 cases, Koraput 29 cases, Ganjam 27 cases, Rayagada 25 cases, Nayagarh 23 cases, Deogarh & Gajapati 9 cases each, Boudh 7 cases and State Pool 51 cases.
In last 24 hours, 13 persons succumbed to the disease and total death toll in the State reached 1181.
So far, 2,52,197 patients have recovered from the disease. At present, 20,750 active cases are there in the State.
