Bhubaneswar: July 14: Odisha reported 2074 fresh Covid Positive Cases in last 24 hours. Out of that, 1192 people were in quarantine and rest 882 are local contact cases. In last two days, it was less than 2000 a day and again, today daily Covid positive cases number crossed 2000.
Total cases in the State increased to 9,45,749 and out of that, 9,18,041 people have already recovered from the disease. Active cases number reduced further to 22,860. Daily Positivity rate reduced to 2.99 per cent.
As informed by Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, 65 more patients succumbed to the infection and total death toll of the State increased to 4795.
Khurda district recorded 443 fresh cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 283 cases, Puri 133 cases, Jajpur 120 cases, Mayurbhanj 115 cases, Balasore 115 cases and Bhadrak 110 cases.
Jagatsinghpur also recorded 99 cases, followed by Dhenkanal 61 cases, Angul 59 cases, Kendrapara & Nayagarh 58 cases each, Sundergarh 56 cases, Malkangiri 47 cases, Keonjhar 46 cases, Bargarh 38 cases, Sambalpur 30 cases, Kandhamal 19 cases, Balangir 17 cases, Rayagada 16 cases, Boudh 12 cases, Koraput & Nawarangpur 10 cases each, Sonepur 9 cases, Ganjam, Jharsuguda & Kalahandi 5 cases each, Nuapada 4 cases and Gajapati & Deogarh registered 3 cases each.
