Odisha registered 2697 fresh Covid Positive case, taking State’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,62,102, informed H & FW Department.
Of 2697 new cases, 1568 people were in quarantine and rest cases are local contact cases. Also, as informed by Health Department, 435 cases are under 01-18 age group.
Khurda reported 513 new cases, followed by Sundergarh 291 cases, Cuttack 138 cases, Mayurbhanj 128 cases and Jajpur 127 cases. Rest Districts of the State registered less than 100 cases each in last 24 hours.

7487 patients recovered from the infection yesterday and with this, total recoveries reached 12,22,867.
Current Active Caseload came down to 30,493.
23 deaths have been recorded in 24 hours and with this, total death toll increased to 8689.
60,762 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and daily positivity rate declines further to 4.43 per cent.
